The Tennessee Chapter of IAAI hosts an Annual Training Conference each August.  The training seminar provides attendees with nearly 30 hours of continuing education in specialized fire investigatin techniques.  Instructors and speakers are experts in their fields and provide a wide range of experience and knowledge.

Past conference events have featured tracks relevant to experience (basic for those just starting out in the field) and interests (such as a digital evidence class at the 2011 Conference).  Each year the Training Committee searches for knowledgeable and experienced individuals related to the field of fire investigation to serve as guest speakers on various topics.  Please forward class topic or instructor suggestions to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The TN IAAI Annual Training Conference is approved for continuing education credit through the Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Commission and the Tennessee Commission on Firefighting for in-service hours.
