An Anderson County man was arrested after deputies learned he had a pipe bomb in his home.

The live-in girlfriend of 25 year-old David A. Parton Jr. told officials that Parton made "homemade explosive devices" to ease stresss.

The discovery came as deputies were investigating an alleged domestic assault by Parton against his girlfriend.
