For the second time in less than a week Monday morning, firefighters battled a fire at a vacant building in north Nashville.

The fire started around 1 a.m. in the 2300 block Clarksville Pike near the intersection of 23rd Avenue North.

Firefighters are calling the fire suspicious because the building was vacant and no electricity or other utilities were functioning.
